Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! I've received so many questions about what I do, so I've compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions and their answers below. If you have a question of your own, please don't hesitate to reach out to me on Mastodon or Threads. I'm always happy to chat!
How do you afford so much travel?
Blogging is more than just a job for me - it's my passion! I have the amazing opportunity to work with travel companies to share the best destinations, hotels, and resorts with my readers. Whether I'm in front of the camera, behind the camera, or just typing away on my laptop, I'm always living my best life and loving every moment of it. Let's go on this adventure together!
Do you really travel alone?
I usually travel solo about 90% of the time, but every now and then I have family, friends, or even readers join me on my adventures. People often ask me, Aren't you scared of traveling alone? and my answer is always a resounding no! While I do share the challenging aspects of solo travel in my writing, I truly enjoy the experience and believe it's something everyone should try at least once in their lives.
What is your favorite trip?
I can never make up my mind because there are just so many incredible places out there! I have a soft spot for Asia - the Japanese gardens, Himalayas, and Beijing are simply amazing. But then there's Rio de Janeiro, which I absolutely adore and could never grow tired of. And let's not forget about my beautiful home country, Canada! Newfoundland, my little home province, has some of the most underrated scenery you'll ever come across. I truly feel spoiled with so many incredible places to call my favorites!
Do you travel with a photographer?
When I travel alone, I like to use a tripod to capture photos of where I am staying. And if I am out exploring without my tripod, I'm not shy about asking strangers to help me take a picture. It's a great way to meet new people and they're usually happy to lend a hand!
How many places have you been to?
So far, I've been lucky enough to explore 56 countries and I currently call Vancouver, Canada home. I'll make sure to keep you updated on my adventures as often as I can!
How old are you?
I was born in June 1990, so that makes me 35 years old.
